Fall 2022 – On-site Programs at LdM Florence and Tuscania
During Fall 2022, on-site courses will be available at LdM Florence and LdM Tuscania. From semester programs to certificate programs, students can gain knowledge and achieve personal growth while engaging with peers from across the globe.

Studying Abroad at LdM Florence and at LdM Tuscania means students have a distinctive opportunity to learn both inside and outside of the classroom, exploring and utilizing the resources of the host city, its art, architecture, natural environment, and monuments as part of a theoretical and practical education. They will be immersed in the Italian culture while getting to know and appreciate Italy’s rich history and people. LdM helps students strike a balance between personal discovery by living and learning about a new culture, and the rigorous coursework that is necessary for academic growth.
For the A.Y. 2022-2023, Italian Language and Culture courses are optional. The Academic Semester allows for a combination of 4 courses plus one Italian Language and Culture class, or 5 academic courses without the language component.

For Fall 2022, LdM will offer double and single rooms in shared apartments.
The shared apartment option is the most popular housing option. Each LdM campus offers apartment accommodations shared with other LdM students.
- Apartments in Italy, especially in the historic centers, are situated in antique buildings and will surely differ from those in the student’s home country. They are most often on the second floor (or higher) within buildings that likely do not have an elevator/elevator access.
- Although LdM maintains a standard for all apartments, no two apartments are alike.
They vary in appearance, style, configuration, lighting, size/features of common space or living areas and/or size /features of the kitchen.. - The apartments used by LdM may be located in different buildings across various parts of the city center of Florence and of the town of Tuscania. All are within walking distance of the school.
- The standard apartment bedrooms are double occupancy with two single beds in the same room. Although students may request a single room (consisting of a single bed in one room within a shared apartment), it is really important that they remain open to placement in a double room, as single rooms are only available in limited numbers.
- In the housing service is also included a cleaning service every 2 weeks during the semester
- Please be advised that the shared apartments are not mixed gender.
- All apartments are NON-SMOKING, fully furnished and come equipped with bed linen, towels, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, basic appliances, washing machine, TV and Wi-Fi.
- Apartments are NOT equipped with a phone or air conditioning
Roommates
- Students are carefully assigned by LdM housing staff based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to their personal profile descriptions and preferences. Therefore, housing assignments must be respected.
- Any roommate/apartment mate request must be specified on the online housing application form
- LdM does not have co-ed apartments.
- If a student’s room request cannot be honored due to space limitations, LdM will assign an accommodation according to availability.
