LdM Distance Learning – January 2022
The LdM Distance Learning program – January 2022 offers a variety of opportunities for students to earn academic credit, as well as a chance to explore Italy and its cultural heritage from home.
Students can choose from a variety of courses taught in English (except for Italian language courses): from Ancient Studies to Art History, International Business, Fashion Marketing, History, International Politics, Psychology, Gender Studies, Nutrition and Italian Gastronomy, and Italian Language.
Where:
Each class takes place live and synchronous via G Suite. Each lesson consists of interactive live sessions, incl. one or more of the following: student lounge, audio visual material, virtual tours, guest speakers, film excerpts, etc.depending on the nature of the course.
When:
Each course includes 15 sessions from Monday January 3rd to Monday January 24th, running Monday to Friday. Final exams will take place on Monday January 24th.
The scheduled time frames are based on CET Central European Time, ITALY and have been optimized to accommodate students from different time zones. Each student is required to calculate the matching local time (www.thetimezoneconverter.com) and must be available to join all sessions as scheduled on the syllabus.
In addition a mandatory online orientation will take place before lessons start, on December 30th.
